ACHI-KOCHI by Rey Ian Corpuz

West Japan In Seven Days Part 2

Kyoto and Nara: The Real Japan (Day 4)

We crashed into my friend's pad in Shugakuin in Kyoto. From Kyoto Station, we had to take three different train lines, namely, JR Nara, Keihan Line and the Eizan Railways before finally getting off at Shugakuin Station. Kyoto's transportation system is mainly dominated by bus and taxis plying its route in the entire city. One awful disadvantage of commuting the bus in Kyoto was there is basically no route information when you want to change bus routes along the way.
